i went to Dubai on the 14th April 2006 for work for 5 days. we were given 2 days off there, so it wasn't that bad afterall. the hotel my company arranged for (Al Bustan Residence Hotel & Apartment) is great; all rooms are fully equip with cooking facilities, but i don't cook. was supposed to go for the desert tour on one of the off days, but because of ONE human, the whole plan was canceled. everyone was so frustrated. so there's nothing much we can do there during our off days, besides eating, shopping and... sight-seeing?? there's nothing much to see also la. but it's a BIG waste for not going to the desert tour. arghh... talking bout eating, you MUST go to the Generous Visitors Restaurant (situated along Naif Road) if you're visiting Dubai because they serve superb biryani and everything is nice there...*saliva drooling*. let the pics do the talking...
